Log a meal by saying what you ate.

No search box, no scrolling through nine versions of "chicken breast," no serving-size dropdown. You say what you ate.

Chicken and broccoli at OpenHouse, the usual

Claude

Logged, 7:14pm. 612 kcal, 58g protein, 18g carbs, 34g fat.

Chicken 250g, broccoli 200g, and 15g cooking oil. OpenHouse cooks in oil, so I've included it.

That was all you had to say. Smacros already knew the portions you usually get there, and it added the cooking oil you didn't mention, because that's the part you'd never think to say, and it's 135 calories.

Log imperfectly. The numbers stay honest anyway.

A half-logged day is never counted as a full one, so your numbers stay right and your plan keeps working.

At the end of the day you mark it complete: everything's in, some meals missing, or nothing logged. You still get to be sloppy. "Big bowl of pasta, no idea, maybe 150g dry" is a perfectly good entry. The record just knows which days were which.

Setting up (about five minutes)

  1. Open your invite link

Someone on Smacros sends you a link. Open it and sign in with Google. That creates your account on the spot, and you land on a page with your next steps ready.

  2. Connect it to Claude

In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector, and paste:

    https://app.smacros.app/mcp

Sign in with the same Google account. This works on every Claude plan including the free one. Then tap Set up with Claude. The setup chat helps you land your daily targets (calories, protein, carbs, fat), whether you know your numbers or want to work them out together. You can change them whenever.

  3. Log your next meal, then keep your dashboard handy

Describe what you eat. Then open your dashboard, one page showing today against your targets:

    https://app.smacros.app

On an iPhone: Share → Add to Home Screen. It behaves like an app, with buttons that drop you back into Claude to log a meal or mark the day complete.

Access is by invite link. Ask anyone already on Smacros.

Built in the open, and straight about what is and isn't there yet:

WorkingYour own account from an invite link, logging, corrections, daily targets, weight, the dashboard, and export or deletion of everything you've recorded, both self-serve.
WorkingAn end-of-day reminder on your phone, if you're on iPhone and have added the dashboard to your Home Screen. Everywhere else the nudge waits on the dashboard.
WorkingWeight trends and how much energy you burn. Both need a few weeks of logged weight before they can say anything true.

There's no on-call engineer, so if Smacros is down, logging waits until it's back. Retrying never counts a meal twice.

Mark each day complete: everything's in, some meals missing, or nothing logged, whatever's true.

That one tap is how Smacros knows which days to trust. If it gets in your way, email support@smacros.app and say so.
